I have a 2000 Lightning Phantom recumbent with a 1" steerer for the 20" front wheel. The original headset was in bad shape. I was happy to fid this product on Amazon, it arrived quickly, and installation was no problem. I've put some hard miles on the bike and the headset performs with no complaints

This is an awesome headset FSA makes some really great stuff..however the race crown that came with this order was too tight for the fork...i took it to a local bike shop, they said the race crown was to small and could be damaged if pressed in, they referred me to another bike shop which told me the same thing..I called FSA and they told me there are 2 models of the 1 inch orbit headset which if i remember were a 25.4 and a 26.?mm...i received the smaller one...so fsa gave me the option of buying the race crown that fits which they quoted as something as 4$ plus 5.99 shipping...i accepted and i am waiting to receive it...save yourself the trouble..before installing the headset..measure the bottom of the fork tube where the race crown is mounted measure the width with digital calipers..then call fsa tech support to see which model fits....the orbit 1 inch comes in 2 sizes there no choice of size on the seller page but there is a model number you can reference to FSA to see if the one offered fits your fork....this is my first build..and i am learning through errors.....not the first or last..but its good to know, and share with others.....the seller was great the product was shipped in a generic box....the headset was new..it was the only 1 inch headset i could find..since they are being phased out by 1 1/8 headsets...aside from the race crown not fitting..it was a great purchase.
