This is an I2C / IIC LCD module that can display 2 lines of characters, with 16 characters per line.
I2C / IIC Interface saves a lot of ports compared to parallel interface.
Compatible Models:
Compatible with mainstream models of Arduino / Raspberry Pi / Raspberry Pi Pico / ESP32 / ESP8266.
Provides example project and code.
(Note: Other controllers are also compatible, but examples are not provided.)

Comes with detailed tutorial and example code. (Download needed, no paper tutorial.)

I got it connected, but it took a little while until I found out that 3.5V is not enough, and that is what I had from the Arduino Nano, but connecting it to an external 5V just lit up and worked. I think it will be perfect for my project.

Habe mir nen Zweier-Satz bestellt:Beide Display's i.O.Entgegen anderer Kundenerfahrungen kann ich nicht "meckern" (Thema Display-Schaden).Was ich an diesen Display's mag:Der I²C-Kontroler ist direkt auf der Platine und nicht als "Huckepack-Modul", was enorm platzsparsam ist.Von meiner Seite aus kann ich eine Kaufempfehlung aussprechen...

I use these small LCD 16x2 displays in various Raspberry Pi projects. The display works as expected, the price is very attractive, and the documentation by Freenove is very helpful.

IMPORTANTE, asegúrate de mover el potenciómetro con el destornillador porque esto es el contraste de las letras y yo todo el rato probándolo y pensaba que no iba, y era que viene al mínimo, vamos que no se ve ninguna letra de primeras.

Artikel kam wie beschrieben. Für eine optimale Darstellung habe ich eine externe Spannungsquelle verwendet, da die Versorgung von meinem Arduino Nano nicht ausgereicht hat

Etwas vorgeschichte- Habe mir die letzten Tage einen raspberry pi 4 zugelegt dazu einem 7 inch Touchscreen von FREENOVE. Lieferung Verpackung alles top plug und play bin mehr als zufrieden.Heute kam das nächste zubehör für den pi2 unterschiedliche Starterkits von FREENOVE.Habe sie noch nicht getestet. Verpackung war nicht beschädigt oder ähnliches die Boxen machen einen guten Eindruck.Letztendlich kommen wir zum erworbenen display ebenfalls von FREENOVE.Verpackung macht von außen einen guten Eindruck und ich war happy es zu haben im Vergleich zu den kleinen displays die in den starterkits dabei sind.Verpackung geöffnet und ich musste feststellen das mitten im Display ein Einschlag ist (siehe kreis), die antistatisch Verpackung hat in dem fall auch schon bessere Zeiten gesehen.Werde es wohl trotzdem testen sollte es funktionieren wird natürlich die Bewertung angepasst!!Lange Rede kurzer Sinn sorry für den sinnfreien Anfang sollte aber zeigen das ich sonst sehr zufrieden mit FREENOVE bin und das für mich jetzt der Ernstfall ist!!Nachtrag!!So endlich zum testen gekommenDisplay i.o. Sterne angepasst alles super ! :)
