Ive played baseball going on 30+ years now, so when my friend son was starting tball this year and she came to me for help. Franklin has been around baseball for as long as i can remember. They aren't a high end sports equipment company but thats not what he needed for tball, so this franklin glove was perfect. It's soft enough he can easily open and close it and durable enough to withstand being tossed around by kids. Value for the money, you cant beat it. Great first glove for a kid that you're not 100% positive they are going to be a die hard ball player.

Got the glove pretty quickly. My 4 year old son has been using it for about a month a few times a week and it seems to be fine. Not sure how long it would last, but given that kids‘ hands will grow, maybe it doesn’t matter so much. It is not made of leather. The ball that comes with it is sort of too light and squishy to be realistic or useful, but I didn’t need that anyway. The red color is great.

Great quality for price! Great beginner glove. Still a little too big for my toddler but can’t wait for him to be able to use it. The ball that comes with it is a lightweight foam ball and is white, not black as pictured. The glove is soft and ready to use.
