Okay so it's a little louder than the original Volvo pump, but here are the good bits.1: it's at least a third of the price of a Bosch, a genuine Volvo pump is £500+. (Not fitted).2: if you lubricate the steering universal joint (UJ) it reduces the effort on the pump; therefore reduces the noise. WD-40 works or LM2 grease on a paint brush.3: I got 140,000 miles from my original Volvo pump. If I get 40,000 off this one, that's at least four years of driving in my case.A cheap, decent quality alternative with the added bonus of the pulley wheel already in place. (You usually need to get the old wheel off and install on the new pump).Oh and YouTube is your fitting guide if you're not sure.
