Fitted this to my 2005 E46 318ci.The pan was in excellent condition with minimal ripples on the matting surface.It did require a small amount of RTV in one section that had a slight ripple above where the dipstick tube fits.The description states that the sump doesn't come with the dipstick hole, this is incorrect, it does indeed have the dipstick hole.

Meine originale wanne verrottet und undicht.Neue passt ganz genau. Qualität auch sehr gut. Nur weiter empfehlen.2002 e46 Cabrio 3.18 CI

It's really perfect for a nice price !The paint smells like quality, the item is well protected during delivery and the drain plug has a ring already installed. The struts for the oil level sensor are the same as the original from BMW.Edit a few months later : Still in place with a qualitygasket, no leaks at all :)
