Allonge intéressante en complément d'un objectif macro, et les montures en plastique n'ont pas trop de jeu, mais les connecteurs ont rapidement des problèmes de contact quand on utilise les deux bagues ensemble.Interesting extension combined with a macro lens, and the plastic mounting does not wobble too noticeably, but the connectors rapidly get contact issues when both rings are used together.

I'm not happy with the quality of these tubes. The parts have not been machined to accurately fit my lens and camera body. On one of the tubes there are aluminum slivers that are only barely attached...waiting to fall into the camera. This aluminum would have been removed it the parts had been machine after removing from the molding tool. You can hear the surfaces grinding together when attaching to the lens. They'll be returned to Amazon.

Let's face it, it's not easy to afford a $900 macro lens (new) or even $550 (used) in order to get macro capability. That's how much it would run for my Panasonic Lumix GF6 M4/3's camera. So I looked around for alternatives and came across extension tubes. I read up on them and decided that instead of buying a "dumb" set for $14 (no auto-focus electric connectors), I would choose the more expensive "smart" set that would work with my camera's auto-focus for $45. They came in last night and I've been shooting with it al day today... and it's MAGICAL. I uploaded a couple of photos I took today, first time out, so others can see the quality of the closeup. The cats weren't interested in holding still and I still got decent shots.Basically, the way it works is that you attach one, or both, of the rings to your camera chassis and then attach your lens. It extends the range of how close you can get to your subject and still focus. Let me tell you, you can get CLOSE. I took shots of my cats, my engagement ring, and lots and lots of yarn (what I dye and sell, and why I needed the rings). I'm incredibly pleased with how well the shots came out and how easy it was to use the rings/camera combo. The 16mm ring was perfect for how I like to frame the close ups of my yarn, and I couldn't be happier. Worth every penny!Just make sure the version you buy works with your camera. I checked the manufacturer's website to be sure. Also, be mindful that available light is an issue when doing this kind of work. If you don't have a macro light ring, and I don't, you'll have mixed results in that area depending on available light. The brighter, the better.
