I've been trying to organize all my gear because I can never find what I'm looking for. I searched and searched for filter holders, but they're all sized for the biggest filters (dumb, when you're trying to protect 52 or 58mm filters), don't have enough pockets, and are insanely expensive. I stumbled across these and just felt stupid for not thinking to search for them in the first place. They're perfect: all my filters are grouped by size, they're all in one place, they're neatly (and satisfyingly) protected without taking up a ridiculous amount of room, and I have money left over for new ones.The only downside to stacking them is that the thicker magnifying filters can't connect to each other, but that's not the fault of these stack caps. And using magnifying filters isn't something I should admit to anyway... but they are pretty handy :) Anyway, I stuck those in one of the filter holders I already had (with not enough pockets for ALL my filters), and everything's perfectly organized now. I'm very happy with these!

Excellent way to cut down the space required to carry multiple filters. I love the metal construction, they are rwally robust.

First of all I like these filter caps. It is made of sturdy aluminum and it works well as a way of protecting and carrying your filters. I've got some very expensive B+W 77mm polarizer and UV's that I want to protect and this is much better than carrying each in separate plastic cases. I have this same stack product also for 58 and 82 mm filter sizes. And I stack them into a canon lens leather pouch which works ideally and keeps the metal from these from scratching anything else in my camera bag.And on that note, the one thing you need to be careful about with these is they are machined aluminum and if you throw them in your bag make sure they aren't going to scratch something else. (thus the reason I carry all of my different stacks in a single leather lens pouch). I've been investigating plasti-dipping them as well as a way of keeping them from scratching other things.That said they work perfectly in storing and protecting the lenses. I would give 5 stars however however I deducted 1 star since mine seemed to have been dropped and was dinged. And the ding formed a sharp burr which not only could cut you but also easily scratch up something else even a filter. Not good. That said it was easy to smooth out and I didn't return.Aside from that I highly recommend these for all filter sizes.
