I have quite a few phono preamps, ranging from very budget ones to some that are considered mid-high end. This one stands high amongst them. Doing a side by side comparison of high resolution recordings, I get better dynamic range of "15" whereas the closest is "14" for the higher end ones on the same recordings.Good soundstage and quiet noise floor makes this one a "keeper" for me. I have seen where other reviewers from Europe complained about hum from the power supply. This is not the case on my, unit and I am very happy with it. A well respected independent audio blog site / forum (ASR) have done actual tests with comparisons to other well known and popular phono preamps. The results are excellent. RIAA appears to be accurate and the noise levels are incredibly good. This is excellent value for money and I am keen to buy a second unit. Highly Recommended !!

Wzmacniacz obsługiwał MM Shure97 ortofon E10 Audiotechnice eliptyczne igły - wzorcowo, nie miałem żadnych uwag. Dynamicznie, dokładnie, równe granie bez większych zachwytów ale i bez uwag.Po przejściu na MC (ortofon MC10super, AT-OC5(eliptyk) czy AT33ptg (Microline) czuć było utratę jakości, niestety jest to zadanie dla wzmacniaczy w cenie tak x5 niestety. Znikł blask czy taki błysk. Słuchałem regularnie ponad miesiąc i długo się wahałem, czy nie zostawić go jako (ech) kolejny zapas.Dla zestawu MM - polecam nawet do drogiego zestawu. Solidna pozycja.Do wkładki MC - zagra, lecz hmmm, no przekaz staje się blady... nie wnosi dla mnie nic ciekawego.

As soon as I connected the external AC/AC power supply to the wall-socket, I heard a loud hum. Transformer seems to vibrate. Very loud. Unusable.The phono preamp itself looks ok, but sound of the midrange was too low, not as transparent as my other phono preamps or built-in ones in even old amplifiers.Very difficult to find a replacement for a AC/AC transformer 16Volt. So be aware : the provides power supply is very bad.

per la tipologia di impianto e mancanza di comparazioni con altri prodotti, non mi posso esprimere sulla qualita' ma rispetto altri prodotti economice o da DJ penso sia superiore, perfetto per un impianto low cost di qualita'
