Good quality, thick glass jar complete with screw on lid, fabric lid, silicone spatula, thermometer and printed elastic band. All seems good quality, and therefore good value for money....however... I have never made sourdough before and have only the smallest idea of what to do. There were no instructions included with this. Do I stick the thermometer to the glass jar? How do i use the printed days of the week band? A simple printed page of instruction would have seen me give this 5 stars.

FORYNXHWIN Sourdough Starter Jar Kit - 24oz (730ml) Round Wide Mouth Glass Jar with Thermometer, Feeding Date Band, Cloth Cover, Metal Lid, Silicone Scrape, Reusable Yeast Bread Baking SuppliesI have started making my own sour dough bread and it’s a labour of love. The starter needs daily attention and a lot of cleaning after feeds. Originally I tried using an empty glass coffee jar to grow my starter but the shape meant it was difficult to scrap the sides.This jar is fairly tall with a simple design and smooth interior - there are no internal ridges from the screw top section. It comes with a slimline spatula for easy scraping. There is a stick on thermometer - very important, and a measuring elastic band to check growth. Also included is a metal screw lid and cloth jar cover. There are no instruction included so I will fix the thermometer to the side of the jar with an elastic band so it can be removed when washing. Reasonable price and great for beginners.
