This stool is stiff and I couldn't get it to go up and down easy.

Even with the dimensions of the product, it just seems a lot smaller than described. I can’t even use it for what I intended to use it for. And I would love to return it but I had help setting it up and can’t dismantle it. I’m so sad I thought this was perfect but then it was built and I was disappointing

Looking at its pictures does not make you realize how tiny this stool is until you have it right in front of you. It is tiny. All its parts are tiny and do not feel sturdy at all. What concerns me the most is the junction (listed as part 4 in the installation instructions), which is made of plastic with a steel circular bracket, to which all five legs are connected. Examining how mechanically that part worked did give me the feeling that it should be kind of fine, at least for my 180-lb body; however, although its website claims it could hold up to 250 lbs., I will not sit on it if I weigh that much. The other claim that it could be assembled in 5 minutes is also a bit exaggerated. Attaching the first four legs to the part-4 junction was easy, but the last leg took some effort to install. If you are buying this very tiny stool, pay attention to part 5 mentioned in step 2, that styrofoam part that I thought was used to cushion some of the parts; you need to put it under part 4 in step 2 because it will make it easier to insert all legs into it. Two of the wheels could be easily inserted into the legs, but the other three needed a rubber mallet to force them in.This stool is very cute, but it does not feel sturdy enough for my taste. Making the part 4 junction in metal would not cost that much, but it would give customers the feeling that it is well-constructed and the assurance that it is sound enough to sit on it, which is something I did not feel after assembling this stool. Making it with mostly plastic like it is might work as well as the metal one, but it gives customers the feeling that it is shabbily constructed, and sitting on it might be hazardous to them. Making customers feel secure will entice them to buy.

The stool comes with tools for assembly which is always nice to see. The assembly really didn’t need instructions it was so straight forward, but I am glad it came with them. The stool is sturdy and a capacity for 300lb’s according to the instructions. It is far more rigid than I thought it was going to be, which I’m rather happy about because I roll around a lot, and it being sturdy and not feeling like it’s going to tip makes it feel reassuring and safe. The padding on the seat is pretty thin, I would like to see this upgraded in the future, but not a deal breaker either. What I really like the most though is the height, this is about the height of a bar stool fully extended and about a normal chair at it’s lowest setting.
