Not accurate at all. Was 2 to 3 degrees off at all times. This could be detrimental to some tanks

After a few months it read higher than my tank actually was.

Hopefully the seller sees this and can right the wrong. Just bought one in August and it started showing the wrong temperature so I changed the battery but it still reads about 15 degrees over the actual temperature.

Easy to read at about any angle, and only in tank thermometer I've ever bought that actually lasts. All the ones I got from petsmart stopped working within a few weeks. This one has lasted over a year and still looks as good as new.

Exactly what I wanted! Unfortunately (and this has nothing to do with the seller), once it is submersed in the tank it is unable to be read from an angle other than straight on, and only for a distance up to 8ft. But it is accurate to the decimal point and made for my Fluval Edge tank. I would consider purchasing a second one for the side of the tank
