Have used this before twice, once on my own bike and some years later (on my recommendation) with my dads classic. However third time was not a charm! When I came to redo my old classic (Had managed to damage the old tank by dropping it and wanted to reline it after the repair). Having spent the time and effort preparing the inside of my fueltank thoroughly.. I started the procedure.. I poured the hardener into the resin and began to mix only to find straight away that the main resin had already partially hardened (About 50% of the mixture was like a rubber block at the bottom of the tub).Having already put the hardener in and set aside the time for this job I desperately tried to mix it so utterly thoroughly that I may be able to get it back to how i know it should be, but to no avail, only ended up with large stringy tacky lumps mixed in with it all. In the end I went for it after scooping as much of the solid stuff as I could (My driveway is now Tapox splattered... Proceeding was in all a big mistake.Despite some lumps still making it into my tank (Luckily i managed to slosh most of them out.... the main issue seems to be that the mix was now not the right ratio of hardener/resin and instead of taking the quoted time to dry it was more like a week with it still being tacky after that. obviously this has left a pretty poor finish and I am unsure how thorough or suitable the coating is. I Still have not put fuel in it over a month later as I am still painting the outside but looking inside the tank it still looks like there are some wet Tapox areas. I even had the airline rigged to blow air through for over a week, and bear in mind I have done this twice before successfully and it only need the recommended time.Raised this with amazon straight after, who said they would raise it with the suppliers, and that was the last i heard and that was over a month ago.Appreciate it's not the most expensive item to buy but given the prep time and possible pain of having to try and "Undo" what I have in my tank at the moment (If it mixes with the fuel when I finally fill it i'll be pi$$ed), I would have appreciated some comeback at least.My lesson to you - stir the liquid in the main tub first just to make sure it has not gone off before you actually begin!, If it is not right you can at least send it back
