A cheaper alternative to the festool hose. I actually prefer this push on hose adapter compared to the locking one with festool.

I have a Festool track saw and this worked. Not the greatest fit but it works for the price. If you are looking for a less expensive hose, I’d say it’s worth it.

I have a smallish wood shop, so a big cabinet table saw is not just not going to work well. So instead, I got a Festool track saw for those jobs that won't go well on my jobsite table saw. The track saw is amazing and worth every penny. However, I didn't really have any compatible dust collection. I grabbed some adapters for one of my hoses, but I had to rig that up with some wire to keep it together when using the tool. I just couldn't justify a hose that would cost close to $200 for one tool that I don't even use frequently.Well, this hose came in at a much more acceptable price and does a great job at fitting into my dust collection and into the tool itself. So I am very happy about that. However, even at this price (around $85 at time of review) it should probably have been a bit better quality or they should lower the price.There are just a couple of quality issues that shouldn't matter for occasional use, but should be considered when determining if this hose is right for you. The vacuum side connector feels a bit thin and brittle. I don't picture it holding up to continuous stress without issue. Also the hose is not anti-static like the Festool hoses and it is far less flexible. It is continuously pulling itself back to the curled up shape it was boxed up in. So if you are a pro that is heavily invested in Festool, you probably won't get much value in saving a couple bucks on the hose, but if you are a hobbyist or only have one or two Festool items, this is a nice way to save a bit for other things.
