Using for fresh milled flour. It is lightweight and easy to use. Of course, it does require some effort on the user's part but it removes enough bran to help with gluten development.

40 mesh works perfect for growing broccoli and radish sprouts. Lot cheaper than buying the dedicated "sprouter trays" Good quality stainless steel, however just to be safe, I hand wash and do not put in the dishwasher.

using it for growing broccoli sprouts & I am super pleased so far!! Well made & looks as if it will last a lifetime!Should that change over time I will come back & tell You!!

This 40-mesh screen works better than a food strainer.... lolThe mesh works great with King Arthur all-purpose flour.Should have done this years ago.

I grind my own flour and then use this screen to filter out the bran when producing all purpose flour. I set in the top of a bowl barely larger than the diameter of the screen, pour the freshly ground flour in and shake back and forth.
