These were my second pair of the same emerica’s. Unfortunately one of my shoe on the first day of skating was unglued from the sole and are now not skateable. Sucks cuz they aren’t even torn from skating they simply just separated from the sole by my toes.

The initial fit and comfort was fine, but the durability was lacking. I initially purchased these because they seemed slim and lightweight, which is the general style of skateshoe I find most comfortable. While they did fit those criteria, I also value durability. I'm rough on shoes, but most skate shoes will last me at least 6 months. A pair of Zoo York's lasted over 18 months early this decade and are the holy grail all others are compared to. My last pair of DC's lasted nearly a year. These lasted 3 and a half months, and are essentially falling apart. The most notable damage is the upper and midsole tearing away from the lower sole along the arch, leaving a 3 inch gash for outside air and water to seep through. The search for a durable skate shoe continues.

Worst skate shoes ever. The suede ripped in random places that never even touched griptape. Soles lasted but it didnt matter cause the suede pretty much disintegrated it was so thin. 90% of the time i get emericas and they last but these are trash.
