Here we have an ELP industrial cam. They've made quite a name for themselves in this space now, I've used a few of their devices in projects and can attest to their performance, as well as to the accuracy and honesty of their specification.This particular unit outputs 3840x2160p video at 60fps. I got it with the 2.8-12mm optic, but this can easily be swapped out for any CS-mount lens, or adapter to fit your own need. I found it to be adequately sharp in testing, but it is hard to judge fully until I get it built-in to my project and can compare it to other options. Low light performance is as expected, the image becomes increasingly grainy as light levels drop, this is not a "night-vision" camera or even a "low-light" camera. I do wonder how it would react to IR illumination, I suspect not very well, it likely filters IR as standard.I am going to use this with my microscope, I have a 4k camera already, but it's a cheaper/lower quality unit with a very limited frame rate. I am currently in the process of making my own mounting system for this camera module. Other potential uses, it could be excellent built-in to a telescope. Situated within a nesting box or on a bird table. It could be part of a fixed focus machine vision system, used to monitor processes etc.. Basically any role where the focal plane is fixed. The high frame rate makes it particularly suitable for wildlife use though.Power is 5V supplied vis USB, cable included. Video output is available over HDMI, USB, or both simultaneously. Important to note, the USB port can be used solely for power, i.e. you can feed it 5V from any source, such as an external battery bank, and it will output video over the HDMI port. It can also function as a basic PC webcam, though it is grossly over-qualified for that particular role.I rate ELP cams very highly in general, this is no exception, it's an excellent product.

I do some intricate work in my workshop but my eyesight isn't as good as it was, I already have an overhead screen for monitoring CCTV and I had the idea (seen elsewhere) to utilise a good camera over the work area and switch the screen over to use like a big workspace magnifier.So far its been a feasibility test and yes it works! So next step will be a proper mount for the camera, probably in the form of a swing-over arm adapted from a screen mount. I am also going to upgrade the workshop monitor to a much larger one.But tests so far show this camera is ideal, some regular webcam wouldn't cut it, you need something like this with a zoom lens and manual fixed focus (autofocus would keep hunting as you moved things around).The HDMI output is exactly what I needed, straight to screen! so simple. I may in time utilise the USB output too, the workshop laptop to record or keep photos. Its brilliant you can use both together.Having proved the concept I will be moving onto the next stage and will get even more out of this excellent camera, its got more resolution than I am using at the moment.Regular price is reasonable at 159 quid (when you handle this device you will feel its no toy) but currently there is a discount to 135 which Is great.Very excited for what this will do to help my work.

Da diese Webcam schon sehr teuer war, war ich gespannt welche Leistungen sie mit sich bringt.Die Kamera ist insgesamt schön klein und hat einen USB A und HDMI Anschluss.Von der Zoomqualität bin ich wirklich begeistert. Sie kann sehr nahe an Objekte heranzoomen und dann scharf gestellt werden.Auch der Weitwinkel sieht nicht verzerrt aus.Die Bedienung der Webcam ist selbsterklärend und einfach.Insgesamt muss ich sagen, dass die Leistung der Kamera sehr stark ist. Dennoch finde ich den Preis etwas hochangesetzt.

I've been watching YouTube videos of micro electronic repairs, and it's only when you start to try it that you realise just how small (and how your eyes have aged!), so I thought I'd give this camera a go.At £158.99 (less 10% at the time of ordering), this wasn't cheap, but was it worth the money?The first thing you notice is the weight, for a small camera, it's pretty heavy. It has an industrial look, it's not designed to be pretty, this is designed to be a functional piece of equipment.I struggled at first to get a picture, the pack.comes with a quality USB3 to USB-C cable and a HDMI TO HDMI cable. I assumed that it can output to both, but my TV didn't see the device at all. I tried it on monitor, still nothing, but when input the USB cable in aswell as the HDMI, it came on. There are three adjustment rings on the camera. The middle ring is unlocked and deals with the zoom, there are two other rings, which have small locking grub screws to fix.the brightness and focus, it's a bit of a faff at first, but you soon get used to it and the lock function is actually quite useful and easy to use.The camera comes with mounting holes only, again due to the fact that this is a work tool so you will likely have a set up already, but of like me, you don't have a setup, you will have to compromise.One thing I did notice is that it does get a little warm in use, it seems normal, but I would want to keep an eye on the temperature and maybe put a desktop fan behind it to keep it cool.So far this has performed very well. I would have preferred a little more zoom to get close up without being on top of the item being worked on (I found that it got in the way sometimes), but it was still a big help and enabled me to see the smallest of components.

Kamera funktioniert, out of the Box, unter standard Windows Kamerasoftware vom Laptop ohne Probleme. Beiliegendes Objektiv nutzt, erwartungsgemäss, nicht das volle Potenzial der Kamera aus, habe über Adapter hochwertige Foto Objektive angeschlossen, vom 100 Marcro bis zum 600 Supertele. Bildqualität ist gut egal ob USB3.0 oder HDMI, auch bei nicht ganz optimalem licht. Mehr Bildqualität geht natürlich immer, würde (und darf) dann aber auch mehr kosten. Preis Leistung geht mit 20% Rabatt Gutschein in Ordnung, für die vollen 200€ aber etwas zu teuer da vom Hersteller keine Software mitgeliefert wird. Wer noch bessere Qualität will oder braucht (z.B. gute Mikroskopkamera, oder für Sternbeobachtung) sollte lieber noch etwas sparen, da Kameras für low light Anwendungen erst jenseits von 500€ anfangen (Sensorgrösse, Lichtempfindlichkeit und Pixelgrösse).

Die kleine Kamera kann bequem per USB angeschlossen werden und das ist sehr gut. Dadurch kann sie in vielen Bereichen Arbeiten. Das Kabel ist ca. 1,2 Meter ausreichend lang. Sie hat eine hohe Auflösung von 4K. Mit dabei 10-facher optischer Zoom/Weitwinkel etc.Sie arbeitet bei 4K mit 60 Bilder pro Sekunde. Man kann sie auch als Webcam bzw. Streaming/Aufnahme Webcam nutzen. Preis etwas hoch, ansonsten zufrieden und sie funktioniert recht gut bzw. wie beschrieben.
