I needed a towel ring in my bathroom and am slowly transitioning over to black hardware. I liked this style of holder because the open ring allows the towel to be effortlessly tugged off, without putting strain on the hardware holding it to the wall. Nothing bugs me more than a rattle!I was fortunate that the placement I wanted was on a stud, so I didn't need the drywall anchors. However, and you can see in one of my photos, the towel holder wasn't assembled quite right to match the instructions, with putting the plate on the wall facing down. I had to tilt mine to an angle to align with the screw. I didn't want to mess anything up trying to adjust it.If you are attaching this to a stud, don't use the included hardware. I couldn't get the screws in far enough to hold the plate without rattling, before they would strip out. I replaced with my own screws and fared better. There is only the one small screw that holds the towel holder to the plate, so time will tell how long that lasts.The finish on the towel holder is nice, smooth, and matte. It fits in nicely.

It looks great, has a cool design and is easy to install. I have a small bathroom with no towel bars. I have been keeping a couple small rags and towels on the bathroom sink to wipe my hands after washing them. I ordered this towel ring to get them off of the sink cabinet. It was extremely easy to install. Put two screws in the mounting plate, put towel ring onto the mounting plate and tightened the set screw. Took only a few minutes. Not only is it functional, but it looks really good.
