So cute, and easy-ish if you already have basic crochet skills (beginner level with at least a year of good practice). I love this kit, however I would definitely find a good way to learn a magic circle BEFORE purchasing this kit. You’ll need that particular skill and the book included is not it. My first turtle came out so cute that my sons fought over it and I had to quickly make the other. It is a bit bigger than a handful for an adult lady with smallish hands.Note: The safety eyes that come with are amazing quality I wish I knew what brand they used so I can get more. They are so secure that I feel safe with my 18mo old playing with it.

This was my first time crocheting, and I definitely struggled at first. Once I got the hang of it, I whipped them up quickly. Two tips: 1:Buy more stitch markers and mark your first stitch and every other stitch to help you keep track. 2: Watch YouTube videos, both the included ones of this project and others. They turned out adorable for my 1-year-old niece and nephew. I filled the turtle shells with rattles out of Dollar Tree cat toys to make them jangle for the babies lol. It worked perfectly. I also embroidered on the eyes with black yarn to make them safe for babies. I'm now confident enough to be working on a larger "real" crochet project.

it was not to easy to make it. I bought this for my son but it was too hard for him to understand. but I give 5 star because the turtle is very cute.

Great kit! The instructions were very thorough and the video tutorial is super helpful. It's a little hard to see the stitches if you haven't used the fluffy type yarn before, but now that I've done a couple, I have the hang of it. Good for a beginner. This was one of my very first crochet projects.
