Easy to learn. My 4, 6 and 8 year old all enjoy playing. Pieces are coated cardboard, brightly colored and seem durable. WInner

We bought this game after seeing the awards it had won. My son and my daughter both live baking so I thought this would be a new game they both loved. We received the game today and as I was reading the rules out loud to them to learn how to play, I noticed that the rules are written only for girls. They say “her, she” etc. and are clearly expecting for boys not to play. It was frustrating to see in 2021 and for a game that had won such a prestigious award for not be more inclusive. My son was upset that the directions didn’t assume boys would want to play this fun game too.

Our 4 year old really enjoys the Disney princess cupcake game but we don’t enjoy losing the super tiny pieces and having to keep repurchasing it! So I opted to try this one out this time. It’s not the same but is similar in the idea of building a cupcake. It is very simple and great for her age.

Very cute! Very simple game as the contestants spin and try to collect the items needed to create their own carboard cupcakes. Parents beware: your kids will probably beg for cupcakes when playing this. They look yummy and my neice was dissappointed when dad said "no" to making real cupcakes after the game. Even I wanted a real cupcake after playing this.
