Yes these are effective at modest heat retention and I’ll be keeping them for colder days on the mountain. Some things to be mindful of. The US Ski Team emblem doesn’t appear on the actual product, contrary to seller’s product pictures here. The toe strap (positioned under the ball of the sole) gets torn up from walking on it, and I am doubtful the strap will last very long. If they simply moved this toe strap back a bit, the strap would fit nicely under the arch of the sole and not get walked on and torn up as easily. Definitely worth giving these a try before investing in electric heating socks/boots.

very useful to protect your toes from frozen when skiing. especially when it’s windy.

I’ve had these for years and they do a great job making your feet warmer. They are durable and effective. I bought a second pair as a gift. Be aware they are sold in size Large.

I have been looking at these boot warmers for awhile, but honestly the price made me think twice. This year I decided to buy and see what was the fuss all about.I live up north and always had problem with cold feet. Nothing that I could do about that. I go hiking daily with my dogs every morning for a couple of hours, even during the winter. When I get home y feet is frozen and wet since water seems to go through my winter hiking boots .Not anymore, this product is amazing, it covers my boot and no water goes in. Ideally I should have a size medium for the hiking boots since I bought size large for skiing but needless to say it is definitely not on my budget to even consider buying a second one this year.But it fits great for skiing and lot of it. It is like a vapor barrier on the outside. Highly recommend for people like me with cold feet. Definitely worth every dime!
