For the money spent on this you would think it would work! Two different pieces broke while trying to extract a rusted frozen bolt! $$$ WASTED! I’m pissed!

While trying to extract a stripped screw (ie the intended purpose) Two of the bits broke in half. they drilled well but they were not strong enough to perform the extraction.On the other hand, I cannot reccomend Ridgid drills heartily enough. Very torquey and stronger than whatever they make these bits out of.

Used it to get some stripped bolts out of my motorcycle, dug in and pulled them out just fine.

This kit is nice & needed to use it on a 1/4" broken stud in an office chair arm rest.There is one small enough I may use to fix broken screws on my PC Graphics cards.You will need a variable speed reversible drill for these to work.The drill bits & extractors are made to be spun counter clockwise.They will not work in a non reversible drill.

I got these to try to get out several stuck and broken bolts. Needless to say, it did not work. They are not strong enough and broke. I got a $4 bolt extractor set from a tool store, and they got two other bolts out. I wish that I had done that first, instead of buying a more expensive one that did not work for me. Yes, I could probably send the broken one in and get a replacement. Just to have it break again? Better to save the postage.
