This humidifier was perfect for our need. Using in bedroom no longer waking up with bloody nose or dry cracked lips. Easy to use and fill bonus the slight light it provides we were able to get rid of our night light. Super quiet which was essential for our bedroom with a great mist output that automatically adjusts. Strongly recommend

I have reviewed many small humidifiers that are fine for desks and bedroom nightstands and they all have small tanks good for a few hours. This is what you need if you want to humidify a whole room on an ongoing basis.I have radiator heating in my condo so its always very dry in winter which can cause problems including increasing the possibility of getting a cold or flu due to dry nasal passages. This holds 3 liters of water which is good for 30 hours so I fill it up once a day. This has an automode which detects humidity level and shuts off when it reaches the humidity level you prefer and of course it turns back on when the humidity drops too low.It looks cool, its very quiet and has a nice blue ambient light which can be used as a nightlight or turned off altogether. This is great humidifier at a good price, this is well worth the $70 price.

I originally bought the Marento 6L for my bedroom. Unfortunately, although it worked well and even tho fairly quiet, it had a high pitched quality to the sound that I could not sleep next too even across the room. So I got the Dreo 3 L next and was pleasantly relieved to find it extremely quiet. This unit works very well and has a high output. This makes for having to fill it very often for my needs as it doesn’t even last the night at highest speed setting. So I then went to the Dreo 6 L which is a tiny bit noisier than the 3 L but the sound is a low pitch that I can live with. I ended up keeping all 3 with both the Dreo’s in my bedroom and the Morento in the living room. I live in a very old, inefficient home to today’s standards with electric heat meaning its running constantly to keep the temp up. Even with all three units its not overhumidifying. I have it auto set to 60% and they rarely, if ever have reached that goal. If you have a more efficient home you may find the 3 L satisfactory on it’s own for a bedroom. Overall, Dreo seems to be the better product and both the 3 L and 6 L seem to have similar outputs with the 3 L being a tad quieter. All 3 have similar functions, I have not tried the app fx as I don’t see much point except for being able to turn the light off without getting up.

I was originally attracted to the black aesthetic since I needed something that matched my office accessories and peripherals, but I'm actually quite pleased with the performance. The noise level is even lower than previous humidifiers I've used of comparable size, and the reservoir is slightly bigger too. Usually run it about twice daily in the winter time when I'm working and I only need to refill the tank about once every 4-5 days. Which is great because I exclusively use distilled water for this one and experience far less scaling than with ordinary tap water. I think it says that it can last up to 30 hours, but it's closer to around 25 from my experience. As for ease of use, both the manual and quick start guide are superbly written, but there really are only 2 buttons I use after turning it on - either the manual mode or the auto mode. I mostly use the manual mode because I can basically adjust the output according to how I feel at the time, but the auto mode works darn well when I'm too busy to tend to it. You just have to set a duration which takes a few more seconds; and all it does is try to maintain a target humidity based on a sensor inside. The same way a thermostat works on an HVAC, only this one is slightly less sensitive. I have a small desktop sensor that gives me a constant readout on my room temperature and humidity and the values usually deviate by about 2-5%. It's not a huge difference, so the precision is still very decent. One more awesome feature that works exceptionally well is the essential oil drawer. The drawer itself is a rather cheap piece of plastic that feels like it's going to break every time I take it out, but the absorbent pads combined with the stronger (and higher) output do a fantastic job at diffusing the scent around the room. Dare I say better than my expensive diffuser?? It works especially well if you use base-heavy compounds or accords like resins, sweets or woods; but the density in the air is just where I want it. The manual does say that you shouldn't over-use the drawer but I'm honestly finding it difficult to resist. I'll be looking into getting more pads or creating my own soon.In terms of coverage, it easily covers my small office room, but I've tested it in the master bedroom overnight (on auto mode) and it did a similarly great job (placement is key) without even draining half the tank. Quite pleased with the performance. Moreover, the power cord is even longer than most humidifiers I've used in the past so that's just another plus. Overall a very decent product!
