This pruning saw has transformed my ability to prune my trees on account of its great length & sharpness. From a ladder I can now reach safely and cut quickly branches which I could not otherwise deal with. I am so glad I discovered this unusually long blade - a really valuable tool.

What a great saw, after my last saw became blunt, found this one and thought I'd give it a try. Really comfortable grip and much easier to cut with than my last knife handled one. Been cutting down a bay tree, multiple trunks approx 20cm diameter.

I needed a more serious saw to cut down a friends medium size garden tree. As I don't have a chainsaw this was excellent for the job. Its kind of the one you need between a regular saw and a chainsaw. I paid twenty pounds for it and am really impressed. It is well made, very sharp [wear gloves] and the teeth configuration [large and small] made the job so much easier, also cutting on the back draw helps. Definitely recommend.

This saw gives a truly five star performance for the right job. I have given only four stars because that job is not as many of the possible applications as I would like.I bought it over a year ago hoping it would.be good at sawing logs up for winter fires. I saw over a thousand logs every year with abandoned saw, seeing it as my gym... This is a saw that cuts on the pull stroke, rather than the more usual cut mainly on the push. Sawing logs is easier on the push as you can put more weight into the stroke. If you are looking for a push stroke saw this one clearly isn't it (I'd recommend Spear and Jackson Razor sharp... )I have also used this saw to cut limbs and trunks of trees still growing in the ground. Here this saw is king because you are likely to be below the cut and your weight can go into the pull stroke better. Large teeth, truly great saw in this context - not so clever if the wood you are trying to cut can rotate or fall off trestle etc...
