I bought these little plastic pieces because my car's wiper linkage bushings failed. Dealership told me they don't sell these $0.50 cents plastic bushings and wanted me to buy the whole wiper assembly for almost $400. I fell back on the internet, Youtube and Amazon. MY car is a NIssan Murano 2011 and for some reason the entire internet doesn't have these things for my car, came here to Amazon and it told me this won't fit my Nissan Murano. I took the chance anyways because the bushings looked similar. While reading some comments in this very section I learnt that many DIY people spent hours trying to push the plastic bushing through the hole of the linkage arm, many of you broke your new bushings.I saw a comment here about boiling the bushing in water in a pot. I did it, it worked like a charm! Pushed the bushing right through the hole using my fingers effortlessly! So here's the deal, grab your plastic little bushing and boil it in a pot of water, take it out with a plyer and immediately push it through the linkage arm!

I bought these to fix the wiper arm linkage on my wife's 2005 Nissan Murano. Amazon says they don't fit, but I can assure you they do. It seems that Nissan used these bushings on a large number of vehicles in the 2000-2015 range, maybe others. Save yourself $100+ dollars for a whole new wiper arm linkage assembly and buy these instead!I thought I would be able to replace them without removing the linkage assembly from the car, but the fit of the bushing in the metal arm is so tight, you will never be able to do it. I found it easiest to use two deep well sockets and a bench vise. One socket on the back of the bushing and the other on the other side of the metal arm. This kept everything perfectly square and had no issue getting the bushing in on my first attempt. Guess I didn't need to buy two packs (4) for spares in case I broke any.
