Remote control is nicely executed and designed product with practical functions. It connects very fast to camera, GPS signal is useless but received in about 2 minutes, screen is visible even on sunny days and has all necessary information (battery charge indicator is not precise at all). Autonomy is poor, about 2H (mixed - stand by / active usage). It has power saving options (dimming screen and stand by mode when screen goes off) which extends slightly battery life but as it is a bluetooth technology permanent connection, even in stand-by mode, drains battery so autonomy remains poor (good side is that device can be used while charged). You can put the camera in stand-by mode and wake it up (executable in 30min time laps after what camera goes off and have to be waked on camera itself) . Bracelet is good quality and securely fits to the wrist but completely incompatible to motorcycle, bicycle or other holders/mounts so you need to modify it, as on included photo (rubber surface is unfriendly to double face tape etc. and there is a breather hole on the back side so do not cover it in the case of modification).From other hand it is a very low quality product. It's my second remote in a year. First one lasted exactly 20 charges after what it simply overheated (almost melted) on the charger and bricked. I used it on the motorcycle for one single trip during three weeks. Charging was executed with quality PD charger like all other devices including Action 4 camera (I opened the remote control and tested the battery which was still in good condition and operational but camera's hardware was bricked). Charging is very weird issue on this device. When you charge it in off mode the led indicator will show when full. Once turned on, little indicator will show battery level 100%. If you use it for a while and discharge it to 70% and afterwards decide to recharge the battery for next use, charging won't be executed properly and after led shows full charge indicator on the screen will say differently (you have to turn device on and continue charging to 100%). Only if battery is almost flat charging will be executed properly. Indicator of discharging of the battery is not precise and you can't rely on it. Positive side is that you can use it while connected to charger (grate for motorcycle use where power is available). Advertising of this device was completely false. GPS signal has not written to the video and definitely not to the photos. You can only add it with the app on the video but it's practically useless and despite users pointed it out on DJI's producer forum, update never showed up. As I bought this camera exactly for this function it was a big disappointment. In general it could be a great device if quality is higher and all functionality works as described. When I mention the initial astronomic price of 125€ it is definitely painful experience (for this quality price should be maximum 40€). I hope this new one will last longer.

Nach erhalt der Sendung habe ich die Fernbedienung ausgiebig getestet und es hat soweit alles gut funktioniert. Nach 3 Monaten wollte ich die Fernbedienung mit der Osmo 5 Pro im Skiurlaub einsetzten. Sicherheitshalber vorher noch aufgeladen und anschließend ging NICHTS. DIE Fernbedienung reagierte auf keinen Tastendruck. Ein zurücksetzen ist nicht vorgesehen (laut Bedienungsanleitung) und ein anschließendes aufladen ging nicht mehr.!!!!!Über AMAZON konnte keine Rückgabe oder Umtausch durchgeführt werden!!!!!Dieses war nur sehr umständlich über die DJI Serviceseite durchzuführen. Es war nicht möglich die Fernbedienung seinem Account bei DJI hinzuzufügen. Über den ChatBot wurde mir geschrieben, dass ich die OSMO im eigenen Account auswählen und dann aber die Fernbedienung versenden. Ein kostenloses Retourlabel für den Servicepoint Ungarn per UPS konnte dann generiert werden. Nun warte ich darauf das ich eine neue Fernbedienung bekomme. Eine Benachrichtigung per Email hält einen auf dem Laufenden.Etwas irritierend ist, dass ich nun Anrufe von DJI aus Frankfurt erhalte.Ich denke, hier könnte DJI es etwas einfacher dem Kunden machen.Nachtrag 1:Die Fernbedienung wurde mit UPS nach Ungarn gesendet und nach 5 Tagen bekam ich die Meldung über den Rückversand, die Lieferung sollte bei mir am folgenden Montag erfolgen, dann wurde auf Dienstag korrigiert und am Dienstag wurde auf Mittwoch korrigiert.Jetzt habe ich die Fernbedienung (!) in den Händen, aber leider lässt sie sich nicht mit der Osmo Action 5 Pro verbinden. Fast eine Stunde mit dem Support telefoniert - keine Kopplung hinbekommen. Soll sie nochmal einen Serviceauftrag erstellen. Diese Fernbedienung ist der reinste Zeitfresser !!!!!!!!!!!!

Das ist die ideale Ergänzung, wenn man die Kamera aus der Distanz bedienen möchte. Hier mit GPS Daten die im fertigen Video angezeigt werden können. Getestet mit der DJI Osmo Action 5Pro.Es dauert teilweise etwas zu lange bis die Fernbedienung die GPS Daten empfängt.Dafür und wegen dem Preis 1 Stern abzug.
