Not had use yet but looks and feels more like a higher end rod.

The Rod on the whole is worth the money. BUT, one of the main reasons for buying it was to be able to use a Swingtip. This isn't possible. It's the *Chinese Curse* again. They have fitted a metric threaded spigot NOT an Imperial threaded one. I checked, by trying the swing tip in my OLD feeder rod top, which it does!!!So, if you're after a twin top Barbel rod you get a Decent Rod. If you want more out of it,....look elsewhere!!

This must be the bargain of the century if your looking for a barbel rod . Everywhere else they sell for around £45 so at £12 it wasn't something I was gonna pass bye . I ordered two as back ups for my usual korum rods and was taken away by the quality when they arrived . Very simply finished with good quality guides , two top sections as well , one with a screw type swingtip eye and the other a quivertip section with two quivertips . the reel seat is decent with a metal surround on each reel clamp ring so will certainly stand the test of time and there's even a good sectioned cloth bag to keep everything safe and scratch free . All in all I wish I'd ordered four because they'd still be great at the full £45 r.r.p .So if your on the look out for a robust, functional,quality but low priced barbel rod look no further you've found it right here . They aren't far behind the korum rods in every way apart from being slightly heavier but even that's ok when barbels your target as it gives added confidence it'll handle that 20lb 'er when it pulls your string .
