As pictured, the spindle came in a cute box with some roving wool to practice with. I'm just learning how to use this spindle and found the inclusion of the wool very helpful. The storage box is a plus. I didn't expect it (even tho it is pictured) so was pleasantly surprised. The spindle is well balanced and very pretty.

The kit is good for a beginner spinner since it lets you store everything together. I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality and spin of the spindle though and ended up returning it. Like I said, good for a beginner for sure........I'm more experienced so needed something a bit better.

I’m fairly new to spinning. This is my first Turkish drop spindle. I was super excited for it. The packaging is really cute. The wool it comes with is definitely for practice only. Not a nice wool. The spindle itself is usable. Not much weight to it. When you spin it the rod moves too much so you don’t get a good spin. Maybe I just need more practice with it. I have another one coming with better reviews so I’ll have something to compare it too.
