This is my first Diamond Dotz diamond painting. I chose this due to the beautiful colors and the crocuses.First the good:The canvas is very nice. It has a nice texture and weight. It has a scalloped edged border.The key is clear and the symbols are easy to read.The colors are gorgeous.Thankfully there were plenty of drills to complete the project. I also think there are a few "AB" drills to give certain areas a little more sparkle. ✨️The not so good:This is a partial diamond painting. While it is listed as a partial, it is not easy to spot as it's only on the photo and not in the description.Due to the limited colors of this painting, it was pretty tedious to work on. The stem work really needs a good hand. Due to it being a partial, the outline of the flower petals also needed good placement. This is probably why it's listed as an intermediate project.Although the drills are a nice deep shade, there were many imperfections. Drills stuck together (that didn't come apart), drills of different sizes, drills that were concave (I tried to sort, but hopefully if some found their way on the canvas they will stay), drills that were broken or deformed, and there was what I will call drill trash - pieces of plastic in the drills. I've included a pic of some of the things I found.Now, the reason that this is problematic is due to the price and the reputation of Diamond Dotz. I've completed a handful of cheaper diamond paintings that didn't have as many drill issues.I'm sticking with 4 stars, but I really think it's worth only 3.5 with the issues listed.
