springs were advertised as actual size in the picture but was not even close. Wasted money. Now i have to take back to ups

Does what it's supposed to ... they might seem long but you have to force them in , do not cut them otherwise they will be too loose and they will fall out.If your lid seems slow to come up , most likely one of the two springs fell to the bottom of the trash bin , this kit of 10 should outlast my two similar garbage cans !
