Matt works perfectly and does the exact job it’s needed for , tends to move if your using it on carpet as it had no grip but that’s to be expected great value for money perfect for home darts set up and cheap !!

Love the design and it’s handy having the check outs when you need them, my only gripe is that the mat moves on the carpet when you walk to the dart board

This is a whipped polyproylene mat with a rubber beige backing. It smells pretty ropey straight out of the box, I would air it on a washing line, to get rid of the smell. It will do exactly what it's meant to do, help add up the scores for finishing and set the distance to the board. I have bought it as a present and I'm sure my daughter and son-in-law will think it is great. They have a new cat, so a fancy one might not be a good idea until they work out whether he is a scratcher. In comparison to the dartboard backing board that my husband made out of pallets and then use a blow torch to Aka Shou Sugi Ban, sealed with a matt stain, this is pretty pants. Handmade with love, versus Chinese factory ... Sorry I know so many people have said this is great, but really it's not, it is serviceable at best. I'm sure it will be sturdy apart from the backing which will disintegrate if it is exposed to too much heat or cold or used constantly.
