My 36 set in reality, is a 34 colour one! "Forest" is twice in there and it is a colour that on paper looks and behaves like the black pencil so if this a mistake, I kindly request Derwent to send me the missing pencil.These are muted colours, so they will complement nicely an ordinary set of colour pencils like the excellent 36 Albrecht Dürer by Faber Castell. I know that these are watercolour pencils but I do prefer them over the Polychromos (too discreet colorwise). I can't recommend any other brand (Caran d'Ache's "Pablos" are not sold by piece and the "Luminance" are overpriced for what they are).So, a set of these ones and another set of Faber Castell is all you really need to accomplish fabulous works.Derwent's "Lightfast" are also overpriced - no reason to cost as much as "Luminance" (which come from Switzerland) not to mention that the manufacturing refinement is also lacking for the price (see the inprinted emboss of the name, on one of the two pencils in the photo).All in all, I do recommend them (when in discount) for the unusual color palette, but I wouldn't advise you to go for the big sets, unless you don't find their price overwhelming and you feel like exploring the line further. -ΙΩΝ

Le matite colorate Derwent Lightfast sono il top gamma della omonima azienda. Quali sono le caratteristiche per le quali le ho scelte? Sicuramente la resistenza alla luce (sono 100% lightfast) e la loro mina versatile, morbida ma nello stesso tempo resistente e quindi adatta anche a realizzare particolari. Diciamo che sono una via di mezzo tra le Caran d'Ache Luminance e le Polychomos della Faber Castell.La consegna è stata impeccabile e l'oggetto era in perfette condizioni.

I bought this set discounted in "used, like new condition." I'm thrilled, there was just one pencil missing, and did not have the paper sample, but the box and pencils are otherwise perfect and I'm so glad I saved so much money on this set.

Die Lieferung durch A. erfolgte wie immer einwandfrei, schnell und zuverlässig.Die Buntstifte sind ein Traum. Weich und cremig im Auftrag, lassen sich wunderbar Schichten und verblenden. Besonders gut kommen sie auf leicht strukturiertem Papier zur Geltung. Ich liebe sie. Der Anschaffungspreis ist in der Tat recht hoch, aber sie sind wirklich jeden Cent wert. Ich würde sie immer wieder kaufen. Sehr gut finde ich, dass sie auch einzeln nachgekauft werden können.

Wunderbare Stifte. Als Erstes fällt beim Auspacken der angenehme Holzgeruch auf. Die Farbauftrag ist weich, deckend und zügig, besondersers auch auf getöntem Papier. Trotz der weichen Mine gut zu spitzen und hält die Spitze angemessen lange.

Derwent Lightfast are my favourite pencils among FC Poluchromos, Caran D'ache Luminance. The colours are vibrant, with a high degree of lightfast endurance, the cores are soft and easily blendable, and of course the quality of the wood is perfect :) However, for such a high quality pencils and so expensive Derwent can rethink their metals tins - they are dissastrous when it comes to safety handling and keeping the pencils.

Ich finde die Stifte richtig toll. Man kann sie gut Spitzen, sie haben einen tollen Farbauftrag und es gibt auch eine gute Farbenvielfalt:)

Ganz ehrlich, ich bin sehr beeindruckt! Ich habe Buntstifte von verschiedenen Herstellern, aber diese hier von Derwent setzten alle nochmal die Krone 👑 auf!!Die Stifte kamen gut verpackt in einer Metall Dose, und noch einmal IN der Dose extra gesichert, an. Einwandfrei !Sie sind dicker als normale Stifte, man braucht einen extra Spitzer.Die Textur ist cremig und man kann gut größere Flächen colorieren, sie lassen sich sehr spitz anspitzen, so dass man auch punktgenau arbeiten kann.Einfach gute Buntstifte !

Recibí mi paquete en perfectas condiciones, totalmente embalado con plástico y en su caja.Son unos colores de gran calidad, de textura suave y cremosa pero algo muy importante es que la punta no se quiebra algo que se agradece mucho; resistentes a la luz con lo que las ilustraciones perduran por más tiempo y fusionan perfectamente entre ellos.Estoy encantada y los recomiendo 100%Un detalle muy especial es que me mandaron un regalito de acrílicos de la marca Winsor and newton de los cuales ya estaré subiendo mi opinión en cuanto los pruebe.

36 pencils are presented in a nice tin box without hinges. The pencils are pretty and look sturdy with a thick lead. Most of the leads glide smoothly over the paper. Some of the colours seem softer than others.My complaint is that the choice of colour is rather limited. There is only one! not even pure red, only one pure yellow and a very light ultramarine in the whole set. There are several very light colours that look quite similar, the same goes for the browns and greens. Given the restricted choice of colours this set seems vastly overpriced. This set is probably best used to complement other series by Derwent. I cannot say anything about the proclaimed lightfastness because I've just received the set.Die 36 Stifte werden in einer hübschen Blechschachtel angeboten. Die Stifte wirken wertig und haben dicke Minen. Der Abrieb ist bei den meisten Stiften weich und angenehm.Schade finde ich, dass die Farbauswahl sehr limitiert ist. Es gibt praktisch kaum Buntfarben, nur ein einziges! nicht einmal reines Rot, ein einziges reines Gelb und ein sehr helles Ultramarin. Dafür gibt es eine Reihe von sehr hellen, ziemlich ähnlichen weißlichen Tönen. Gleiches gilt auch für die Braun- und Grüntöne, die teilweise kaum zu unterscheiden sind, auch werden gleich viel Violettöne angeboten. Das Set ist höchstens als Ergänzung für andere Sets geeignet. Schade, denn der Preis ist dafür viel zu hoch.Zur Lichtechtheit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da ich die Stifte erst erhalten habe.
