This is a typical coffee pot like you see in Turkey or Greece. If you like this style of coffee, you will like this one. It only holds about 400 ml of fluid to the brim, so you do not get 2 big cups from it.I guess the main attraction of brass is that it works well when put in the sand as they do in Turkey. For a gas oven - I dont know how much difference this actually makes. It does not work for induction, of course, and although I tried it with an adapter, I just could not get water to boil in it, heat conductance too strong and it just dissipates, so the water inside did not boil. So it is for gas or hot plates only.Similar items in Turkey are about 3 times cheaper. Whether this is because of the import tax in UK or just because it is a "special" pot - I dont know. Kind of "spoil yourself" item. Or something for a present. My other, less fancy one, works just as well.

UPDATE: Demmex contacted me and offered a full refund due to the damage. I have updated my review to five stars for their high level of customer service combined with the fact that I have been using my new pot and love it. Very happy with this quality purchase.I haven’t had this long enough to attest to its durability but it does seem well constructed. I like the heavy rivets. The size is perfect for me and It functions well. I would’ve given it a four or five star review if it weren’t for the dents in the bottom. I have been waiting to use it so I’m not going to bother returning it. I will probably ding up the bottom myself even more over time.

Cezve is made of high quality. The thick copper case with a wall thickness of 1.5 mm is made carefully and efficiently. The handle is securely attached. A good correct classical shape that allows you to get the optimal characteristics of the drink. Please note that the volume of 8 fl oz (236 ml) specified by the manufacturer is the volume if the water is poured to the very edge. The actual working volume of the pot is 6.8 fl oz (200 ml). The tinning inside is not done very neatly. The layer is not very smooth, with patches and small streaks. Specifically, in my copy, under a layer of tin, there is a small speck and some small debris that got inside during tinning and was filled with tin. This will not make the characteristics of the cezve significantly worse, but still I would like the manufacturer to work more carefully. It would also be very cool if the manufacturer also produced cezve in classic sizes of 85, 110 and 140 ml. I would be happy to buy such a cezve for one cup, but unfortunately, this manufacturer does not produce such options. In general, for its rather small money, this cezve seems to me to be very good. If you are not ready to spend €140-190 for a professional cezve, then this inexpensive option for €40 may be a good alternative for you.
