Yep, this is exactly what i needed to install my Delta faucet. Worked great.Would have been nice if Delta included it or at least mentioned it in the instructions.

It blows my mind that only Delta has the exact compression adapter for an off-the-shelf water supply valve. After 3 trips to two local big box hardware store(s), spending nearly $80 in compression adapters that supposedly were 1/2" compression to 3/8" OD male, but failed to fit the water supply MIP, I decided to order these Delta fittings just to have cold water on our new touch faucet. Waited a day to get them, but we now have full water supply with no leaks.Maybe the plumbing industry can standardize fitting sizes? I mean, it's astounding to me that only Delta has the wherewithal to come up with a fitting that FITS. Thank you!

This was exactly what we needed. We bought a new faucet that had 3/8" hoses. Between looking at all the various faucet listings, we mistakenly thought our new faucet had adapters that came with it. After calling local stores and asking about this type of adapter, I caved and bought this on Amazon. This Delta part is exactly what we needed and I'm surprised that we had trouble finding such an adapter-- our local hardware store said that we would have to replace our existing pipes or find a different faucet. So if you have 3/8" hoses and need to a connect it to your existing 1/2" pipes, this should work. It has been months since we installed the new faucet and delta adapters... so far, no leaks. I had some trouble figuring out which of the two supplied types was correct for my under-sink valves, but after searching online and reading a number of postings and articles and images, I was able to pick the right one. I think this information should have come with the product as an instruction sheet with photos with images of connectors to use in various situations. It is very well made and since it comes from the OEM manufacturer (Delta) of my faucet, works perfectly.
