If you hate using wallpaper and don't want to paint, I would recommend looking into decals. This set has a ton of decal designs; which is pretty much large stickers that you can place on the wall. I like this alternative method because I can simply remove them if I change my mind. In this set the stickers are individually cut so it was easy to choose one, peel it and apply on the wall. I did change my mind about one of the decals a day after I applied it, and I was able to remove it by slowly lifting an area and using a blow dryer to peel the rest off. I did not see damage to my wall so I am pretty happy.
