It’s a tiny bit narrower than the original so it shakes and rattles. It looks good but not practical. I found it’s easier to take of the mag with the original release compared to this. I will return.

Fit is a bit loose, but, for the price it works great, and makes magazine changes on my Ruger 10/22 effortless.

I have four 10 22's and all of them have this type of magazine release. It is very easy to install and is worth upgrading to. This one is made of thinner stock but works as well as the more expensive units.
