so, my daughter loves these shoes, but they were very tight on her. in most of her shoes, a 12 has a bunch of wiggle room, but i could barely get these on her, and she complained before she even stood up. what's odd, is i bought her the court graffik shoes (also by DC) in the same size 12, and just like all her other shoes, she had tons of room. we wound up ordering a 12.5 in the trase, and while they fit, i can tell they will only fit for a short time as they were fairly snug....length was ok, but they are considerable tight around the foot pad area... if you can find a size that fits your kids feet, they are nice shoes...
