Lovely little whistle, beautifully made and packaged. I really wanted to like it...I'm a trail runner and I carry a whistle for safety and to keep coyotes at bay. But...I ran a test of this whistle and others in my running bag and this one was a full 10 db quieter than the larger whistles. Traditionally shaped whistles performed the best, and larger ones were louder. Volume matters.

This works fine, but it requires a strong burst of air to produce any noise. Make sure your lungs are up to the challenge before purchasing this item!

The TiWhistle is a small, light and pretty loud whistle. It easily attaches to my keychain right next to my TiPick, so it will always be with me if ever needed. Having a Lifetime guarantee is a great plus too! You never have to worry about it breaking.

Received this whistle yesterday afternoon and it was an instant hit in the house. The 3 small kids were explained what it is used for and they all had fun using it. it was then explained where we are keeping it, on the key chain for the car and why it was there as well. they had their fun up in the play room and it was heard all over the house. weighing an ounce and not much longer than a key it doesnt feel any different when in your hands or your pocket. great emergency whistle. and yes all the kids want one now! for their backpacks.
