This is my first dive computer, and I found it easy to understand and simple to use… though the push / hold button sequences took a little practice (definitely recommend playing around with it for a bit before using it on a dive). At first I didn’t hear it beeping underwater, but once I recognized what it sounded like, it was loud enough to catch my attention. My only complaint, as a smaller woman, is the size — it felt a little large on my wrist, and I think I’ll need to trim some length off the wrist strap so that I don’t feel like it’s getting in the way. No issues reading it underwater.If you dive a lot you probably want to invest in a computer with more features, but this is a practical, (comparatively) affordable entry-level device for casual / occasional divers.

Wer nicht allmöglichen Schnickschnack haben möchte, sondern einen Tauchcomputer der einfach zu lesen und bedienen ist, macht mit dem Cressi Giotto nichts falsch. Ich habe auch den Leonardo zuhause und war mit dem sehr zufrieden. Der Giotto ist durch die 3 Tasten etwas komfortabler.

I just completed 10 dives with the Cressi Giotto. Overall I am very satisfied with the use and the functionalities it offers. I bought it after completing my advance open water and while I thought I would never use the nitrox feature, I am glad I had this option and I didn't need to buy a new computer.Once you spend some time going over the setup and the functions, it is very easy to use the computer. It is very easy to read underwater (I have used only once the backlight in high depth and very dark conditions) and it gives you a nice overview of all the information you need: current depth, max depth, remaining decompression time, safety stops and dive time.The log book function keeps all the data you need to know about your dive and anything you might want to add to your physical logbook (times, water temperature, etc.).The only thing I noticed (and it's not necessarily a drawback) is that when diving with Nitrox, the SF2 setting is very very conservative. It gave me a long safety stop (18 minutes at 3 meters for a max depth of 30m) and when I missed that it went crazy beeping and wouldn't let me dive again until I reset it and changed to SF0 safety factor. Good thing that upon resetting once, you don't loose any history of max depth or the logbook.

Für Leihen, die nur im Urlaub tauchen absolut ausreichend. Gibt im hochpreisigen Segment jedoch günstigere Uhren.

Ich wollte mit diesem Computer meinem Suunto Vyper ersetzen, bei welchem die Hintergrundbeleuchtung ausgefallen ist. Aber bei meinem Gerät war diese fast nicht vorhanden, selbst im Dunkeln schimmerte diese nur und das Display war nicht ablesbar. Jeder der schonmal bei schlechten Sichtverhältnissen bei 30 Meter getaucht ist, weiß wie angenehm eine gute Hintergrundbeleuchtung beim Computer ist.Schade ist, dass auf den Bildern eine gute Beleuchtung per Photoshop vorgegaukelt wird...

Habe mir den Computer vor etwa 1 Monat bestellt. Versand über Amazon wie immer Top.Langzeiterfahrungen habe ich noch nicht aber 1 Tauchgung am 31.12 Absolviert.Wassertemperatur lag bei 6°CDie Bedienung ist auch mit Handschuhen kein Problem jedoch konnte ich kein Signalton wegen dem zu schnellen Auftauchen hören.Die Anzeige ist sehr gut lesbar.Einstellungen wurde von mir vor dem Tauchgang nicht vorgenommen. Das auslsen des Logs konnte ich ohne dem Handbuch durchführen. Hier muss ich noch dazusagen das es mein erster Tauchcomputer ist den ich je verwendet habe.

Ottimo prodotto per un subacqueo inesperto ed alle prime armi come me! Innanzi tutto il prezzo ottimo, ho usufruito dei cosiddetti "usati" che in realtà sono nuovi ma con la confezione leggermente rovinata....beh! non ho capito bene dov'era rovinata....ma il prodotto era perfetto. Ottime le istruzioni, complete e facili da capire. Pratico l'uso con le scritte belle grandi che si possono leggere bene. Insomma tutto molto bene e subacqueo contento!

Der Tauchcomputer funktioniert einwandfrei und ist auch halbwegs intuitiv zu bedienen. D.h. man kommt wirklich auch ohne Bedienungsanleitung aus. Einziger Schwachpunkt ist es, das bei einem so teuren Gerät keine beigelegt wird.Update: Die Geräte haben eine Macke. Manchmal kann es passieren, dass beim Batteriewechsel das Display leer bleibt und es eingeschickt werden muss. Das Internet ist voll von den Problemen. Ist mir auch direkt vor dem Tauschurlaub so ergangen - von daher Finger weg und ein anderes Gerät kaufen!!!
