Fortunately these haven't had to be used in anger yet, but this being England that time is coming...However these have been test fitted and they're a good comfortable fit, with a good elasticated waistband to help hold them up, and zipper to help get them over a boot or shoe. Whilst they've not yet had to be tested in actual rain they did hold up to a few minutes test in the shower, and no water got through.Unlike others that I've used in the past, these are lined. I think the main benefit of this, is to make them more comfortable if say wearing shorts, since it puts a layer between bare skin and the waterproof outer layer, preventing the horrible cold feeling you sometimes get with unlined waterproofs if worn with bare arms or legs (not that you would wear on these on your arms... well I mean you could if you wanted and if you did I'm not going to judge you do you).

A great pair of trousers for wearing during a variety of outdoor activities. I wear mine when doing the gardening or on a long rainy dog walk in the forest.Elasticated waistband provides comfort and ease when getting these off and on.The zip detail and velcro fastening located on the bottom of each leg gives me that much needed extra room to be able to put my boots and wellies on underneath them giving a much smarter look.The fabric itself is similar to that of a shower curtain on the surface but the trousers don't feel stiff at all and have alot of movement to them but no stretch!Would highly recommend 👌

These arrived in a very compact vacuum packed pouch. They are extremely light, and in this size quite airy. The outside layer is the waterproof part and certainly did a good job during a rain and hail shower today. The inner liner is like a big mesh layer, full length of the trousers too. This is supposed to allow more air circulation and reduce condensation from sweat. In practice I found after a 9 mile hike, that initially my usual trousers underneath were dry, but that there was an element of trapped sweat condensation. The waist band has a draw string for a tighter fit, and the leg bottoms have zips to aid fitment over boots, plus velcro straps to keep them tight. Finally useful pockets on the outside.Overall these are good trousers for waterproof protection in bad weather. However, the wearer will have to be aware of the risk of trapped sweat condensation. So overall perhaps better kept for use only as needed rather than worn from the start as a protective layer.

I often find the arms and legs on tops and trousers too short for me so I buy talls when I can. I couldn't quite make sense of the sizing guide in the listing, with thigh circumference, etc., but I got the "M / 33L" long length size of these and can confirm that they are long enough for me, which is great.These fit me well over the top of a normal pair of walking trousers, which is how I intend to use them. I have not tried them in heavy rain yet so cannot comment on breathability, but they are comfortable to wear and quite easy to put on and take off, for which the Velcro helps. And unlike many women's clothes they have pockets! I'm pleased with these.

These trousers were great to wear while hiking in the mountains, they protected my legs from the wind although they did fill with air and flap around a bit. I used the Velcro to tighten the material around my ankles to stop rain dripping in to my shoes, and this was effective. However the 'waterproof' aspect of the trousers wasn't so great - for the light rain they functioned well, however in heavy, persistent rain, plus slipping over in a shallow river they didn't stop me getting wet-through to the bone. Overall they were a comfortable fit with the elasticated waist and drawstring to adjust, the Velcro around the ankle, a zip up for extra comfort, and that they are suitable for mild but not extreme weather. I think most other waterproof trousers would have had a similar effect for a similar price, so I would say they are priced well and are good quality.
