Some apprehension as inherently a potentially dangerous addition to a tool that spins 25k rpm. Installed into my Porter Cable 7529 router on home built slab flattening jig. 3" diameter cutterhead installed. No vibration or out of balance situation experienced. Runout did not increase. Make sure you tighten both ends of extension with 2 wrenches each time a bit is changed for safety. Endgrain cuttingboards with significant lateral load on extension were flattened with careful attack ( allow router to do work). Would purchase again (probably wont have to).
