The Verbatim discs I bought were a no go so I snagged these as a recommendation for PC-Engine Duo copies and they work like a charm!Burn at lowest speed for older consoles. Also work great on Sega CD as well.Highly recommended!

I bought a spindle of these in 2019 and they were flawless. Every disc was perfect in the burning, and the resulting sound. I just bought a new spindle of the exact same product in late 2022, and how the mighty have fallen! Every other CD-R gives an error after attempting to burn the first track, rendering the disc useless. With a 50% hit rate, they should be charging 50% of the price, but they sure ain't! Avoid like the plague - I'll never buy these again.March 2023 update - I was wrong. It is not one out two discs that is defective, it is two out of three discs that are defective. Who is giving this garbage good reviews?!? Buy at your own risk, better yet, buy mine. This manufacturer shouldn't be in business, and Amazon certainly should not be selling this trash.

I have burned tons of discs for Dreamcast, PlayStation 1, and SegaCD using these discs. They have all worked great. They pass verification after burning without issues. The game system drives always recognize them without struggling or taking long times to initialize. - I wish the top label wasnt silver; makes them look so generic. And no doubt the exposed silver is probably easily damaged if mishandled - but that shouldn't be much of a problem - we all know how to properly handle CDs after 40 years right? RIGHT?? -- Thank you CMC Pro for keeping these in production! The dark green pigment is a lifesaver for drive readability. Your only other competition was Maxell CD-Rpro discs, but I'm not sure if those are green-bottomed anymore these days....

Perfect for burning backups of my console discs, I find burning them at max speed works better than low speeds as other people have recommend.
