CAC-2070 - Der Club 3D CAC-2070 ist ein aktiver HDMI 2. 0 Signalwandler. Der DisplayPort 1. 2 zu HDMI 4K 60Hz Aktiver Adapter ist die einfachste Lösung für den Anschluss Ihres DisplayPort 1. 2 Game PC oder Laptop an einen HDMI 4K UHD Fernseher, Monitor oder Projektor. Adaptador ativo DisplayPort para HDMI 2.0 não funcionou. Tive que comprar outro aqui em minha cidade.

It works. It can put out a maximum of 240Hz @ 1080p on an HDMI 2.0 screen without issue. It lacks its own power, however, so if the input signal is weak from too long of a length or some other issue, it will top out at 144Hz at that resolution whereas a similar adapter from Club3D with its own power source (USB-C port for wall adapter) can push 240Hz off the same signal. Only problem is that other adapter is for HDMI 2.1, so it doesn't work with HDMI 2.0 screens like this one does.If the input signal isn't downgraded to DP 1.2 by a suitable adapter/converter, this adapter will not work. Usually most cables and adapters are backwards compatible and things should work, but I've had a few not work. Like, for instance, if you're using a DP 1.4 cable or coupler that is not DP 1.2 backwards compatible.When buying an adapter make sure you know exactly what input you want (DisplayPort 1.4 or 1.2) and what output you want (HDMI 2.0 or 2.1). They are not perfectly backwards compatible. Turns out what I really needed is a DP 1.4 to HDMI 2.0 active adapter. When I found one, it displayed 240Hz 1080p HDR under all conditions even without its own power.

I have a work laptop that has only HDMI 1.4, and a 4k TV I'm using as a monitor. HDMI 1.4 only supports 4k at 30hz, which is simply painful to work with. An optional dock for the laptop gives me 2 Displayport 1.2 outputs, which should support 4k at 60hz, but wouldn't with cables that claimed to make it work. This adapter did the trick, though.One thing to mention, whenever I chose 59p or 60p from the intel command center, the output was hideously fuzzy and the colors were blown out. Using CRU I created a custom resolution with a refresh rate of 58hz and all was well again. I'm not sure what caused this to happen, as it was blurry at the 30p preset too - it would appear that my particular driver/graphics card is at fault, and not this equipment.Either way, I'm working at 4k with not 30hz, and couldn't be happier.

I have experienced way too many issues with 4K display using passive cables and adapters (all certified for 4K bandwidth or 18 Gbps). I recommend leveraging active cables high-res, as it will eliminate problems with flicker, not getting picture when setting res to 4K (or anything above 1080P), monitor/TV not detecting as 4K-capable, and so on. 4K is not plug-n-play, like it should be --- Even when the transmitting device, cable, and screen are all certified for UHD / 4K, you can still experience all sorts of problems, especially between different manufacturers, models, cables, and so on. Do yourselves a favor and go with active cables when possible, and especially when converting from one port-type (i.e. Display Port) to another (i.e. HDMI). Good luck.
