I must admit I’ve only used this once but I found it a little fiddly. Half way through it started to unravel at the beginning and wasn’t easy to fix so I had to start again. You only get one middle part and pin so you would have to purchase more if using again.

The Clover Rosette Maker, Large works very well. It took a bit of fiddling to get the knack of creating the pleats. I find that it is better to secure the pleats with stitches than the sticky tape backing if you are using heavy grosgrain ribbon as I am. The first picture with the US Navy uniform button in the center has been pulled very tight after sewing to make the center smaller. The second picture shows the rosette pulled out into an oval to provide a backing for an oval name badge. A very clever tool.
