Ich habe den ATA verwendet, um bei der Umstellung unseres Providers auf VoIP die analogen Telefone nicht direkt am VDSL Router anzuschließen, sondern dahinter in unserem LAN. Pro ATA können bis zu 2 analoge Telefone mit Tonwahl angeschlossen werden (für Impulswahl benötigt man einen Umsetzer). Das funktioniert gut. Allerdings gibt es bei diesem ATA sehr viele Einstellungen und die Vorbelegung scheint für USA gedacht zu sein. Funciona muy bien pero el configurarlo la primera vez es un suplicio.Para empezar hay que conectarlo a un router con DHCP activado, luego conectarle el teléfono y pulsar **** y luego 110# para que te diga que IP tiene en perfecto ingles. Luego si tienes suerte, pones esa IP en el navegador (no uses Firefox la primera vez), pones user/pass y ya lo puedes configurar con los valores de tu compañía VoIP.En mi caso, como tenia un firm tan antiguo, aunque me asignaba IP el router de fibra no era capaz de verlo, por lo que no me podía conectar a él. La solución fue usar un viejo router de ADSL, conectar el adaptador SPA112 y conectar un ordenador al router ADSL para cambiarle el firm a la última versión (1.4.1 SR1 ). Una vez hecho esto, el router de fibra ya lo ve y te puedes conectar sin ningún problema desde cualquier equipo y con cualquier navegador ya que se ha solucionado un bug que impide a Firefox la conexión con algún firm antiguo.Una vez has terminado de configurarlo con 1 o 2 lineas SIP, te olvidas de él. Puedes dejar el resto de la configuración por defecto que el equipo funciona perfectamente.Si no quieres conectar un teléfono en el conector del SPA112 y quieres dejar los terminales donde los tenias previamente de la instalación de teléfono convencional, conectas un cable telefónico en el puerto que hayas configurado (en mi caso el 1) y luego a la roseta y ya puedo usar el terminal inalámbrico que tengo conectado a una roseta en el salón.Yo lo he comprado para configurar una linea de Netelip y la fibra de Pepephone, ya que el router suministrado (F680) va capado y no se tiene acceso a la configuración SIP aunque el router sea capaz de gestionar la linea VoIP.Recomendado.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.The CISCO SPA 112 worked perfectly right out of the box. I have a ZOOM Telephonics Model 5352 Cable Modem which lacks built in phone service. I had just terminated Time Warner after many years and took on another cable provider who doesn't provide phone service very well. They have a screaming fast Internet speed which TW lacks, so I signed with them and embarked on setting up my own VoIP inbound and outbound.CISCO provided excellent instructions in the package which proved to be 100% accurate. FYI, and this is important, my VoIP provider is Callcentric. Both CISCO and Callcentric had fully and accurately coordinated their settings to make the interface work.The short story of the setup is as follows:I plugged this unit into the ethernet port on the 5352, then plugged in the phone and energized it.I then plugged my laptop into another ethernet port on the 5352 modem so I could do the settings.The instructions had me put the phone in programming mode by pressing ****. This enabled me to get 100% of the settings I needed to enter into the laptop activation program. Initially you need to know the address of the SPA 112 and enter that into your browser to access the programming module. The phone will give that to you by following the instructions.After doing the initial activation I then checked for a firmware upgrade and found one. I installed it with no problem.Next step was to enter the Callcentric information from their account page and enter it via the laptop.They conclude with the statement, make a test call. It worked perfectly the first time.I am not an IT guy but I follow instructions really well. In this case CISCO and Callcentic did an OUTSTANDING job because if I can do this setup in 20 minutes, then someone who is actually trained will be able to activate this thing in ten minutes.If you think about it for a minute and look closely at this unit I believe you will figure out that there are a number of other sellers out there which are having this unit private labeled for them. Buying the SPA 112 gets you directly sourced on an OEM basis and you can then add all the bells and whistles you want. Bottom line OEM saved me money and gave me the freedom to use the carrier I wanted.

Habe den Phone Adapter soeben erhalten anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten bin ich nun hellauf begeistert von dem Gerät. Ich konnte mit dem Gerät eine alte Eumex 800 ersetzen, da ich über die 2 analogen Anschlüsse der Fritzbox noch zwei weitere benötigte. Ich kann dafür das Gerät nun wärmstens empfehlenMeine Rufnummer bzw. Zugangsdaten zur Rufnummer bei sipgate konnte ich auf zwei Arten verwerten:Direkt in den Cisco Adapter eintragen, dann nimmt der Adapter sofort mit den Daten Verbindung zum Provider auf, siehe unten unter (1).Die andere Möglichkeit ist, den Adapter mit einer zuvor in der Fritzbox erstellten Konfiguration zu füttern, dann kontaktiert er über die Fritzbox den Provider.1.Dazu Adapter ins Netz hängen und analoges Telefon daran anschließen.Unter Quicksetup trägt man fürProxy: sipgate.de:5060User-ID: die UserIDPassword: das zugehörige Passwordein. Dann speichern, Telefon zwischenzeitlich an den Adapter anschließen und fertig; schon kann man telefonieren.2. Wer das Gerät in die Fritzbox integrieren will (Fritzbox muss VoIP fähig sein), kann das wie folgt tun:-In die Fritzbox einloggena) Zunächst die vom Provider vergebene VoIP Rufnummer einrichten:-Telefonie - eigene Rufnummern - Neue Rufnummer. Die Rufnummer dann gem. der Vorgabe des Providers einrichten.b) Dann noch die Zuweisung des Cisco Adapters in der Fritzbox:-Telefonie - Telefoniegeräte - Neues Telefoniegerät - Unter: "Telefoniegerät einrichten" wählt man "Telefon",-unter "Telefon anschließen" wählt man "LAN/WLAN (IP-Telefon)"-Im Textfeld unten steht ein vorgegebener Name für das Gerät z. B. "IP-Telefon 1", diesen zunächst so belassen, dann "Weiter"-Im Folgebild wird dann der Registrar: "fritz.box" und der Benutzername: "620" (o. ä.) angezeigt, 620 ist der interne Benutzer des Geräts.Ich habe dann auf zurück geklickt und habe den Gerätenamen auf IP620 modifiziert, um einfache reproduzierbare Namenskonventionen zu haben.-Dann wieder auf weiter und als Kennwort habe ich dann auch 620 eingetragen, denselben Wert wie für den Benutzernamen, so muss man sich nicht viel merken.-Im Folgebild "Telefon für ausgehende Gespräche einrichten" muss dann nur noch die Rufnummer zugeordnet werden.c) Dann noch die Zugangsdaten für das soeben in der Fritzbox eingerichtete Telefoniegerät alsoBenutzer: 620Kennwort: 620Provider: fritz.boxin den Cisco Adapter eintragen, wie folgt:d) In der Fritzbox unter Heimnetz die IP des SPA112 notieren.Diese in den Browser eingeben.Es erscheint die Oberfläche des SPA112.Login mit Benutzer: adminKennwort: adminDann unter Quicksetup folgende Daten eintragen:Provider: fritz.boxUser ID: 620Password: 620speichern, fertig.Wer dann für die zweite vom Provider vergebene Rufnummer ein 2. Telefon an den Adapter hängen will geht genauso vor wie oben beschrieben. Die Administrationsoberfläche im Adapter enthält ja Bereiche für zwei Rufnummerdaten.Tolle einfache Handhabung. Die teilweise sehr komplexen und verwirrenden anderen Formularseiten brauche ich für meine Zwecke nicht.

Worked fine from day 1. Amazon's product description is accurate. Initial setup is started by connecting an analog phone to port1, dialing **** followed by 110# then it spells out the IP you can use with your browser to proceed with the configuration. Firmware 1.3.5 right out of the box, no need for FW update (Oct 15). Each of the two ports are independent an can be configured for phone or FAX. I used the setup parameters proposed by my service supplier voip.ms and it worked on first attempt. One great feature is a setting that fends off stray phone rings resulting from unwanted Internet IP scroungers. Great product for the price.

Das Teil tut was es soll.Was man dazusagen muss: Die Konfiguration kann sehr detailliert ausfallen und ist dann alles andere als intuitiv. Daher gabs auch keinen 5. Stern. Wer sich mit der Materie auskennt, sollte aber keine Probleme haben.Google hilft hier weiter. Sinnvoll zu wissen ist dann allerdings, dass diese Geräte früher von Sipura und danach von Linksys gebaut und vertrieben wurden, bevor alles zu Cisco wurde.Dann findet man wirklich alles. Von ausgiebigen Dialplans bis zu den Configs für die deutschen Wahltöne.Das Teil kann zudem an den beiden Ports auch die nötige Impedanz bereitstellen, die bestimmte ältere Geräte für den ordentlichen Betrieb brauchen. Beispielsweise im Broadcast-Umfeld die guten analogen Studer Telefonhybriden. Wir hatten da vorher einen Patton Smartnode dran, der beim doppelten Preis nur einen Port bietet. Der konnte dem Ding nicht die guten alten Bundespost-Pegel liefern und war somit für diesen Einsatzzweck unbrauchbar.Das Teil hier macht das 1A.

I had looked for ages at these units and various manufacturers, my SIP provider had warned me that the type of device in general was problematic. I must admit I have not found this in the slightest. I've been using another economy SIP manufacturer for a while now and I don't think I will be back given my Cisco experience. This box has so far proven itself excellent. My only regret is not ordering the SPA122.The box itself is a non-descript subtle unit with 4 LED on it. One tells you the WAN is live, one tells you the SIP channel has connected and the other tells you the power is on. It has two completely separate SIP channels, thus 4 LED. It runs on a low voltage power brick which in my case is a weird hybrid of a 2 pin Euro transformer, plugged into a universal converter with a UK plate attached that takes 2 pin Euro. This seems a bit cobbled together and left me wondering about the quality of the solution, it works well though and doesn't seem to get warm so I guess its reasonably efficient.The unit generally feels well made and came in scratch proof packing, apart from that it's a black box. Literally.The unit is configured via it's network interface, you plug it in and it hooks up with DHCP. You then find it, and it gets a bit more technical. The menu system is not for the faint hearted. This unit makes no pretences about being for the professional and semi-professional market. The menus whilst clear to an engineer who has time to study them are not what you would give to Granny to install. Many of the basic configurable you need simply to setup a basic authenticated SIP client are spread across several pages and hidden amongst many complex settings. I found the FAQ quite useful and it explained in very simple terms the settings for a specialised Fax compatible mode. I followed the instructions and it all worked beautifully, but even with this known usage model the HTML menus don't have the option to press a button for "Configure for Fax optimised mode". You have to wade through menus and options.I would heartily recommend this unit, as a professional software engineer I would say to CISCO they need a "novice"/"advanced user" option on their menus. So far I like this unit though and I would suggest anyone non-technical asks their SIP providers support team to remote login via their PC to configure it if they have problems. You could dig a very deep hole, very easily on this unit.The SPA122 unit is the same as this module but also comes with a built in Network port allowing users who would like their networked multi-purpose printer to use as few cables as possible to share the network connection used by the SIP comms. In hind sight I would have preferred this, but that's my lack of foresight not any fault of the unit. My unit is working very happily with an Epson WF-7525 fax machine multipurpose printer. Apparently fax via SIP is a problematic subject and this new unit is optimised to handle it better than previous versions.
