While the material sheds water like a duck, the design and fit of these pants is terrible. I'm 6'0" 165 lbs, 34" waist. I got these pants in Large and they are a terrible odd fit. The inseam is probably 32. The legs are just right. The front of these pants looks pretty nice. The waist fits well. The pockets have nice zippers. That's the end of the good stuff.To make these fit I have to pull them up above my belly button, ala Ralph Kramden, otherwise the crotch is easily 6 inches too low. There's a scrunch of elastic right at the middle of the back and an excess of fabric that is enough for me to hide a duck,These look like nice pants from the front. From the back they look like massive waterproof baby diapers.While I'm an avid bike commuter and need wet water gear, I will not be wearing these pants.This is not the first item from Chrome that has been an absolute disappointment. There's definitely no reason to pay extra for this brand.

Excellent value for money. They look like the picture. I wear foul-weather gear on the job. These are lighter than class 1 or 2 gear and what I was looking for. The description is 'city wear'. That's an appropriate nomenclature. The techie fabric is 3 thin laminated, water slippery layers.The sizing requires the buyers' attention. The SMLXL representation needs more specificity. I had to go outside of Amazon to the external Chrome Industries website to get the waist size conversion. I'm a 36 standard waist and chose the 34 on the assumption that these would be roomy, and they are. Fits fine.A big surprise is how 'quiet' the fabric is. Out of the box, they sound like foul weather gear. Put them on and start walking. I don't notice fabric on fabric swishing.Much better than expected.

These are great for a lot of rain -- not super packable, but if you wear these you aren't going to have wet legs. Fit well, and true to their size chart.
