I use them to hold my fishing gear box on my sled . They stay flexible in the cold ; easy to latch & are strong as I carry about 60#'s of stuff over rough terrain .

Once well installed (adjusted), the rubber material seems to last very well after a year and the 'hook' is still properly doing his job.
