I had no idea titanium cutting boards even existed. When I saw this, it got me thinking how my old wooden cutting boards probably absorbed a lot of germs and could use replacing. Titanium seems like a great material to cut things on, especially meat. It is inert and non-toxic and does not absorb moisture, odors, or bacteria. Then, on the other side of this board, there is a Wheat Straw PP material. It has a nice unique feel to it, and is also a good choice for a cutting board. I copied this from AI...... "Wheat straw cutting boards often contain a mixture of wheat straw and polypropylene (PP) plastic to enhance their durability and functionality. The PP material used in these cutting boards is typically food-grade, ensuring they are safe for use in the kitchen. This combination makes the cutting boards non-moldy, easy to clean by hand washing or dishwashing, and resistant to warping or cracking". Also, for those who are environmentally conscious, Wheat PP is considered environmentally responsible and sustainable.Because both sides of this board are usable, it's good for avoiding cross-contamination. Cut meat and fish on the titanium side and then vegetables and other items on the wheat straw PP side. The board is nice and thick and has a good weight to it. There's a silicone edge going all the way around the board with a lip. So when it's resting on your counter, the board itself does not slide or touch your countertop.Something to keep in mind though, if you're not careful using the titanium side, you will have to sharpen your knives more often. To sum it up, I like this cutting board. I like the choice of materials, and the quality is good.

This cutting board is really good to have in your kitchen. I like that it has two different cutting surfaces. The Titanium side is for cutting meat, which means the board doesn't absorb any of the juice from the meat and it will prevent germs from growing. This board is solid and the veggie side is great too, my only moan is that it's not dishwasher safe. If that's the only moan then for a better quality cutting board, I think I will cope. It's definitely a safer board than the wooden ones I have.

This is a really useful chopping board. The titanium side is for meat preparation and looks as if it will be hard wearing. The other side looks totally different, it’s made of a different material, is a cream colour and is suitable for preparing fruit & vegetables. I like the addition of a little grater in the corner perhaps for preparing garlic. This is a quality chopping board, perhaps it would make a good wedding present.

This cutting board is impressively sturdy and well-built, featuring a convenient handle for easy carrying or hanging. Made from titanium, it offers a hygienic surface that resists germ absorption and is easy to clean - ideal for maintaining kitchen cleanliness. One standout feature is the dual-sided design, giving you more flexibility compared to standard boards. One side includes grooves to catch juices, and in the corner there is a grinding patch - both useful additions, though the grinding area could be larger. The raised rubber lip on both sides helps the board stay stable on tabletops, providing a secure grip while chopping. It's worth noting that the titanium surface, while durable, may dull knives a bit faster and can be slightly slippery. Still, the overall functionality and dual-sided design make this a strong contender among the boards we've tested although quite pricey at around £30.
