Ihr Warenkorb ist leerDer Aluminium-Tauschutz von Celestron mit Kappe schützt Ihr Teleskop-Rohr im Feld. Der Tauschutz reduziert die Strahlungskühlung von der Schmidt-Korrektorlinse in den Nachthimmel, wodurch die Linse länger unter dem Taupunkt bleibt und sich kein Tau auf der Linse bildet. Außerdem erhöht der Tauschutz aus Aluminium den Bildkontrast, indem der verhindert, dass Streulicht in das Teleskop dringt, was Betrachten und Astroimaging erleichtert. Der Tauschutz aus Aluminium wurde speziell für Ihr 8- Zoll-EdgeHD-, Rasa oder Schmidt-Cassegrain-Teleskoprohr (ab 2006) erstellt.

I have various SCTs including 8", 11", and a 14". This by far is the most well designed dew shield I have owned for those scopes. It is stiff enough so will hold up to some abuse, I like the side port to run cables out as use it in Hyperstar mode so need to get the camera USB, power, and also the internal Celestron dew heater ring cables out of the shield. It fits well and the clamping mechanism is good. One big plus is that they include a nice aluminum cover. Since the stock cover won't fit on the dew shield I always had to make my own caps for my other scopes which is a pain. I could remove the dew shield on the other scopes and use the stock cover but that is an issue with Hyperstar as I do NOT want to remove the camera, Hyperstar, etc. every time I want to cover the scope after using it.I haven't found any negatives although I did decide to put some Rrvnuts with plastic thumb screws on the dew shield so I could ensure a tight and secure fit so it wouldn't get knocked off as I covered the scope for the night. The stock clamping setup is pretty good but I wanted the extra peace of mind ;-)

Funciona perfecto protegiendo mi telescopio de las noches frías para evitar o disminuir grandemente la formación de rocío en el espejo, adicional ayuda a evitar luz parásita del entorno para contribuir con las vistas. El materia es de aluminio con forro aterciopelado por el interior, el diseño ayuda mucho a la estética del telescopio haciéndolo más vistoso. Embona perfecto en mi telescopio de 8" y aunque agrega algo de peso extra el frente basta con equilibrar la parte posterior, desplazando un poco el telescopio hacia atrás en la montura. Tiene por la parte interna salida para los cables de regulación y de corriente del anillo calentador en caso de que se cuente con él. Algo caro pero vale la pena. Lo recomiendo.

Me permite hacer Darks y Flats en u C8 EDGE con o sin Hyperstar. Los flats los hago con Flat Panel, apuntando el telescopio hacia el suelo, con lo que el panel se apoya en la tapa metálica. El tener una salida para los cables facilita el cierre de la tapa. Yo hago las tomas de calibración en un observatorio en total oscuridad. Si estuviera en algún lugar iluminado pondría cinta a la salida de los cables , aunque se ve muy bien sellado.No lo uso para los ligths debido a que cualquier corriente de aire le afecta, por ser voluminoso y afecta negativamente al guiado.
