I've used CatEye biking computers for years on several different bikes, so I was familiar with the basic setup. But for the Velo 9 I found the mostly illustrated instructions confusing, because I wanted to specify the exact circumference of my tires to get accurate distance readings. And I didn't care to measure this manually. I might have chosen 700c but looking carefully I saw that this could give (an unspecified) difference from my own tire circumference. The solution was to choose the 205 option (which is a choice for circumference) and then increment this number the the one indicated in the table of various sizes. So following the illustrations I incremented the number (first units, then tens) to the size indicated in the table for 700-38c tires, which is 218. Pressing and holding the mode button completed the choice for size.From there everything was familiar except my installation which was different from typical, in which the magnet and sensor are mounted on a front wheel. I am using the Velo 9 on a bicycle attached to a trainer so I wanted to measure revolutions of the rear wheel. The wire from the sensor to the display is too short to reach the handlebars, but luckily my bike, a Schwinn CrissCross, has a step-through top tube that is lower than the typical male bike and the wire does reach from the rear to near the front of the top tube.One question I had about choosing the CatEye Velo 9 was what is the difference between Velo 7 and Velo 9? The answer was on the second page of the setup instructions - Velo 9 is identical except that it can calculate Calories and Carbon Offset (CO2). If I had known this I would have opted for the slightly cheaper Velo 7. I had not seen a list of differences anywhere else.I am pleased with my setup and with the displays of the Velo 9. It works well for me.

This is a very basic, very simple bicycle computer that does all I need (and a bit more). No-nonsense and very reliable. No need to connect wirelessly, or Bluetooth or any of the methods that are a recipe to make you waste more time fixing connections than actually using the computer (I gather some may strongly disagree with me). Easy to use and displays the real relevant info such as speed, distance and time continuously with no fuss. All I need!

Kein Schnickschnack, funktioniert immer, zeigt genau die Daten die man braucht. Ein tolles Gerät. Funktioniert perfekt im Gegensatz zu einem Gerät aus einem holländischen Aktionsmarkt. Perfekt für alle die ein Gerät wollen was immer funktioniert und die keine Navigation brauchen. Hat alle Daten und läuft zuverlässig. Das Display ist auch wirklich toll: Gross und gut ablesbar. Einziges Manko: Keine Hintergrundbeleuchtung, dafür läuft die Batterie ewig.

Habe es schonmal gehabt, dann verkauft und ein Kabelloses gekauft, das später Probleme machte.Also zurück zu dem, womit ich sehr lange zufrieden war.Leider sind nicht alle Größen vorhanden.Bei 29" hätten Wir nur 2.10 / 2.20 / 2.30Wie gesagt, ich war Jahrelang zufrieden mit Diesem Tache und hoffe, das es so bleibt

Der CATEYE Fahrradcomputer Velo 9 CC-VL820 ist ein solider und zuverlässiger Begleiter für Radfahrer. Die Installation ist einfach, und die Bedienung ist intuitiv. Die Anzeige ist klar und gut ablesbar, auch während der Fahrt. Die grundlegenden Funktionen wie Geschwindigkeit, Distanz und Kalorienverbrauch werden präzise erfasst. Allerdings bietet das Gerät nur die Basisfunktionen, was für ambitionierte Radfahrer eventuell nicht ausreicht. Für den Alltag und Freizeittouren ist er jedoch eine gute Wahl. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt!

Der Computer zeigt alle wesentlichen Informationen und noch mehr. Ich persönlich würde mir noch wünschen, dass man die durchschaltbaren Anzeigen und deren Reihenfolge durch Auswahl in einer Liste personalisieren könnte. Aber für einen Preis von etwa 15 Euro kann man sowas natürlich nicht erwarten.

Hält Regen und Frost aus, kann immer am Fahrrad bleiben, wird eh nicht gestohlen und ist sehr präzise. Der CO2 Verbrauch und die kcal Angabe sollte man verstecken können. Wird die meisten nicht sehr interessieren.

Für gut 15 Euro ein gutes Produkt. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Leider ohne Beleuchtung, d. h. im Dunkeln eigentlich wertlos. Bis auf die Tatsache natürlich, dass man hinterher, oder mit Taschen/Stirnlampe die Daten ablesen kann. Aber das wusste ich ja Voraus, von daher gibt's nichts zu meckern.

Ya había tenido anteriormente uno de la misma marca, el cual dejo de funcionar después de varios años de uso, por lo que decidí comprar otro de la misma marca y hasta el momento me ha funcionado sin ningún problema, fácil de configurar e instalar, si lo volvería a comprar
