Perfect for mounting up under your desk to allow for less clutter on the top of your desk. I fed my charging cable thru the back and out out of the front .. Just enough to be able to plug my iphone in to charge. I push my iphone back into the storage shelf to sit while it charges. No more phone and cable sitting randomly on the top of my desk. Great item if you want to get a bit more organized

Both side pieces shattered when they were bumped by a desk chair. Seems like because it's built for underdesk use, it should be robust enough to survive a light bump.

This tray does require a bit of installation, there are 4 screws that are included and you should align the tray where you want it and then mark where the holes should be drilled to accept screws. Alternately, you could use adhesive strips (not included) to mount. This features a hole at the back so that a cord can be fed through and it can charge your device while it is out of the way. This is low profile enough that it's not going to take up much room under your desk.

I ordered this under desk storage device to free up some more space on my crowded desktop.Installation only requires using four wood screws, included, to secure it to the bottom of your desk - done in a couple of minutes if you have a drill or electric screwdriver.The design is simple and effective: it's an acrylic pocket that slants slightly towards the back once it's in place. The bottom of the inside is lined with a felt-like material, so your phone won't get scratched by the case.I use a journal that measures 4x6 inches and it will fit into this holder, but it's a tight squeeze. My Z Fold 3 Samsung Phone fits with room to spare, so that's nice.Most likely I'll be using this more for my journal than my phone, but a little hidden storage zone on the bottom of my desk is a welcome addition, and I'm sure to be enjoying this for a long time.Definitely recommend.
